This thing is crap and a huge waste of space and money. Never worked from the second I got it. Had a simple one from three years ago it had the same dock attached to the cigarette lighter plug in (no huge, bendy space consuming goose neck thing)and had one plug that went into the bottom of your ipod and it charged and broadcast thru it on three radio band frequency you chose by a slider on the side. Thats it. It worked perfectly and like a fool I gave it away to "upgrade." Now I have this huge goofy thing that pretends to be digital and never broadcasts on the station you sync it to, it has to be plugged into the lighter socket in your car to power the digital light up farce, then you plug it into the bottom of your ipod/iphone to charge the ipod/iphone then you have to run a cord from the headphone jack out into the jack in on the broadcaster and then there is a USB space on the side to charge something else if you want. What you end up with is a giant digital tarantula that eats your front console and simply doesn't work after all that. I have had three (after returning two) and not one of them ever played on my car stereo. Not once. Not for a second. Gonna wrap it up and surprise the friend I gave my simple one plug analog broadcaster to with a new upgrade, then offer to take the old one off his hands. Cruel, deceitful and dishonest yes. But so is this product so I guess its catching.
