Good product but the the charger comes with the wrong power cord so I have to buy another power cord. The power cord you sent me it won't fit in the ac adapter. (Posted on 3/5/10)

I purchased this product for my Dell Inspiron 700m to replace the original adapter that my cat kept chewing through and finally shorted out.

The first thing that I noticed is that while the AC power cord from the adapter to the wall outlet is the same length as my original adapter, the cord from the adapter to my laptop is about 2 feet shorter than the original. While the old adapter sat on the floor, this one dangles a bit off the floor -- which I'm not too crazy about -- and I had to purchase an extension cord to make up for the short reach to the wall outlet. I gave it four stars because of the short cord -- I would have given it 5 had the cord been as long as the original.

Otherwise, the device works just fine. And ironically, my cat hasn't chewed on it yet. (Posted on 1/11/10)
